Not sure I should be consorting with known privacy pirates by commenting on their blogs ;-), but I think one of the more eloquent put-downs for Phorm's behaviour was on the FT's "Markets Live" streaming blog. One of the ML writers observed that when a listed company (such as Phorm) starts behaving like this, it's "a strong 'sell' signal".

Hitting 'em where it hurts...

I have been inactive on any recent activities due to family issues sadly this company adds me into the list by naming me on the small quote I read on nodpi.org.

I haven't bothered to go an look at the site as to me I have real life issues but what he has done is made me more active no at the hospital where every waiting room I pass and the wards in the bulding I am in will all have some nice flyers for people to pick up.

Rock on Phorm you do know how to make the news hit the main page the more people that hear about you the more that will refuse to be phormed.

[...] Technollama: I am happy to report that Phorm has managed the rare feat of evaporating even the last drop of pity that I may once have felt for them. They have created a vicious and yet unintentionally funny website called, wait for it, Stop Phoul Play, where they even have a form that invites users to stay inphormed (even more gratuitous ef replacement, the phools!). The website has labelled everyone involved in the campaign against the service as ‘privacy pirates’. Yes, we are labelled pirates because we oppose a service. [...]
